Double vision is a disturbing phenomena. It is one of the frightening and unfortunate condition. This condition is known as diplopia and one sees two images of a single object. This can occur anytime and the extra image is on top or on side and sometimes it is mixed.

This can be easily treated with proper medication. Blood sugar level is also one of the factors for double vision. Keep a tab on sugar level regularly.
Sometimes this condition cannot be reversed. During this time there is a special eyewear containing prism lens and it helps to minimise this double vision effect.
Double Vision In One Eye
When people normally see, they get double vision. But when one eye is closed it goes away. This means that double vision has occurred in one eye it is known as monocular and it is a unusual phenomenon. Consult your doctor immediately if this kind of problem occurs.
If you get double vision suddenly do not panic as this is simply because of stress. However be careful as it can indicate a serious condition also. Consult your doctor and seek advice.
