If a person is wearing hard contact lens, consult your doctor once in three months to track any corneal changes. Contact lenses rubbing the corneal centre can cause scarring and will lead to corneal transplant. If the eyes are feeling itchy, use a cold compress and relieve the itch. Also use a cool pack to relax your eyes. Thyroid dysfunction is also known to have a link with keratoconus.
