In this world it is a great task to understand the mechanism involved in the visionary process of a visually impaired person. It is tricky to know the way the visually improved people observe objects. It is a general thought that the senses of the visually impaired people are very strong that they perceive all the worldly objects through their senses. It is also regarded that they develop 3D vision maps from the space available in their surrounding and they design a special world for their own.

Certain researchers have confirmed that even though the people are born visually impaired and even if they cannot identify the visual stimuli, one can understand the data in the visual form. People who are visually impaired can learn to see the shape of a human body with the use if their ears. They can work in the way similar to bats and dolphins that use echolocation to visualize the outside world.

According to Neuroscientists, in the case of visually impaired people, the information passes through sound enters through the visual cortex and helps in creating spatial maps. A study by the World Health Organization states that almost 40 million people across the world are declared to be blind whereas, around 250 million are visually impaired. Age-related disorders such as glaucoma and diabetes are evidenced in among the ageing population. Hence it becomes mandatory to find out the ways to help them.
