Reading In Dim Light

Reading in dim light do not damage your eyes, but it may give you a headache. So if your kids are reading using a flashlight in bed, their eyes are not in danger.

Eating Carrots

Carrots are good source of vitamin A. It is very essential for maintaining eyesight. However, eating bunch of carrots before an eye examination is not going to make any changes of your eye result.

Crossing the eyes gives headache. However if a child is having crossed eyes the condition is known as strabismus and request medical assistance. There is no evidence that sitting close to the TV hurts our eyes but if a child is sitting very close he or she may have nearsightedness.
